It has been a month since the last time we did a hike due to bad weather and Jeremy having the awful flu, and my mild flu. Today we finally had the energy to go for a walk.

We hiked 8.58 miles in 4 hrs, our worst time yet.

Today was a day when we didn’t really want to do a long walk. After a delicious and unhealthy donut and coffee breakfast at Psycho Donuts, we headed to Saratoga Open Preserve. We faced our steepest hill so far at the beginning of the trail.

We hiked 3.60 miles today.

Today was a great day for hiking. This trail almost made me cry after four miles of climbing, but eventually we reached the peak.

So far this has been my favorite hike. There were nice views of the valley. We hiked 10.14 miles, this has been the longest one.

I learned about this place thanks to a friend.

We hiked through California mining history. It was a really interesting place to visit and have an idea of how people used to live here.
